Invocation for The Night
In the dark of night I stand alone,
skyclad and waiting with only the stars as my cover,
twinkling, flickering and ancient.
In my heart I am searching for something that is wild, free and
shines like the light of the moon, beautiful and sacred.
O vastness of night, speak to me.
O endless blackness, hear me.
O great heavens above, see me.
And, so it is!

* skyclad is a Pagan term that is used to mean naked, to be as you
were born, with only your skin between you and the natural world.
