Invocation for Incense
I call upon the plant spirits, and protectors
of these leaves, woods, flowers, seeds, resins and roots.
I breathe you in as sacred smoke.
I call upon the cleansing essence of air,
the grounding essence of earth,
the activating essence of fire, and
the purifying essence of water.
I breathe you in as sacred smoke.
I call upon the moon, the sun, the stars, and all of the
heavens and planets. I bring your essence into my body,
adding it to my own.
Sacred breath, sacred scent, sacred smoke.
